Example deliverables

    Design that moves real numbers.

Every engagement is scoped around a measurable business outcome. Here is what that has added up to so far.

10+ yrs Crafting digital user experiences for enterprise and startup teams.
1.5M users Directly impacted by products we have designed to date.
$1.4M Liability reduction delivered through UX accessibility improvements.

Big-agency capability. None of the overhead.

Large agencies sell you their partners and then staff your project with juniors. We built BrilliantUX to work the opposite way.

The person you meet is the person who does the work: no account managers, no handoffs, no bait and switch.

You work directly with senior designers who have shipped products inside Amazon, Whole Foods Market, and other enterprise environments.

Deliverables your engineers can actually build from, not static mockups.

Interactive HTML prototypes, documented design systems, and specs written for real development teams, so nothing gets lost in translation.

We know how to navigate stakeholders and legal review without slowing your roadmap down.

A decade inside enterprise organizations means we can manage compliance requirements, accessibility standards, and executive alignment.

Every project starts with the metric it should move: conversion, adoption, support deflection, accessibility risk.

We define success in your numbers before we open a design tool, and we report against it.

    Four phases. Zero guesswork.

Our approach is built around clarity, collaboration, and measurable outcomes so every design decision is purposeful.

    01

    Consultation & Discovery

We start with a deep understanding of your business, users, and goals through stakeholder interviews, competitive audits, and journey mapping.

    02

    Design Conceptualization

We translate insights into direction: information architecture, wireframes, and visual patterns aligned with your brand and product vision.

    03

    Prototyping & Iteration

Interactive prototypes make ideas tangible early, so solutions are validated with real users before you invest in development.

    04

    Delivery & Handoff

Production-ready assets, documentation, and design systems your team can scale, plus post-launch support and optimization.

    Three ways to engage.

Every engagement is custom scoped, but most partnerships take one of these shapes.

    UX Design Sprint

    Fast validation

    Best for

1 to 2 weeks, tightly scoped

    Rapid research and prototyping

Tested concept and clear next steps

    Ideal before a build commitment

    Project Engagement

    Defined initiatives

    Best for

End-to-end design of a product or feature

Fixed scope, timeline, and outcome metric

    Production-ready specs and prototypes

    Development support through launch

    Design Partner Retainer

    Ongoing momentum

    Best for

A senior design team on call monthly

    Design system stewardship

    Continuous research and iteration

    Priority turnaround on new work

    Questions? We've got answers.

    What does BrilliantUX do?
BrilliantUX is a UX design studio in Austin, Texas that redesigns business software, apps and websites so they are easier to use. Clients have included Amazon, Whole Foods Market, IEEE and Mark Spain Real Estate. Services cover app and software redesign, design systems, website design, prototyping, hardware interface design, motion design, and SEO and AI visibility.
How much does a UX redesign cost?
Most UX redesign engagements with BrilliantUX run between $3,000 and $5,000 a month, depending on the size of the product and how many screens and user flows it covers. Every engagement has a fixed scope and a fixed price agreed before work starts, so there is no hourly meter running. Smaller projects, such as a one to two week sprint to test a direction, are priced as a single fixed fee.
How long does a UX redesign take?
A focused redesign of a few key screens or flows usually takes two to four weeks, and a full product redesign typically takes two to three months. The timeline depends on how many user flows are involved and how quickly feedback comes back. Bringing a designer in early is the fastest path, because changes made during planning cost far less than changes made mid-build.
What does a design system include?
A design system is a shared library that keeps every screen in a product consistent, including colors, typography, spacing, icons and reusable components like buttons, forms and tables. Each component comes with its states, accessibility behavior and usage guidance, built in Figma and documented so designers and engineers use it the same way. BrilliantUX built the design system that merged the Amazon and Whole Foods Market libraries into one.
Who will actually be doing the work?
The senior designer you meet on the first call is the same person who does the work, from research through launch. There is no handoff to a junior team after the pitch, which is where projects with larger agencies often lose quality. You get experience from Amazon, Whole Foods Market and Slalom applied directly to your product, with one person accountable from start to finish.
What do we receive at the end of a project?
You receive production-ready design work, not a slide deck. That includes polished screens in Figma, interactive prototypes that behave like the real product, annotated specifications your engineers can build from, and the reusable components behind them. Where it helps, BrilliantUX also delivers working HTML prototypes, so what you approve behaves the way the finished product will.
Can you work with our in-house design and engineering teams?
Yes, and most engagements run alongside an in-house team, taking on work nobody has time for or building the design system the team needs but cannot pause to create. BrilliantUX works in your files, tools and conventions. Engineers are involved from the start, so feasibility, edge cases and error states are settled while the design is still easy to change.
Do you design for accessibility and WCAG compliance?
Yes. Accessibility is designed in from the start, with color contrast, keyboard navigation, focus order and screen reader behavior specified to WCAG standards in the work itself. That is how enterprise and healthcare projects pass compliance review without a costly redesign later.
Do you work with companies outside Austin?
Yes. BrilliantUX is based in Austin, Texas and works remotely with companies across the United States. Past clients include Amazon, Whole Foods Market, IEEE and Mark Spain Real Estate, in industries from retail and real estate to professional associations and enterprise software.
